House Fire With Reported People Trapped In Avenue

7th District Volunteer's, November 12

On Thursday morning Stations 5, 1, 2, 7, EMS 59, 19 and ALS were alerted to a reported house fire on River Springs Road in Avenue. A neighbor called reporting a fire in the house and the occupants were still inside. Chief 5 arrived on the scene to find a single story house with smoke showing from the rear of the house. Command was established on Side A of the structure.

House Fire Reported In Mill Point Shores

On Tuesday morning just before 9 am, Companies 5, 2, 1 and Charles Co. 14 were alerted to 35911 Washington Ave, in the Mill Point Shores sub division for a reported house fire. Chief 5A arrived on location first and found a single story residence with light smoke showing from the chimney area. Crews Handle House Fire In Abell

7th District Volunteer's, October 04

On Sunday evening Stations 5 and 1 were alerted to an appliance fire on Abell Road in Abell. Engine 52 and Chief 5 responded and were advised that the caller had fire visible from the dryer and the assignment was upgraded. This added Stations 2, 7 and EMS Stations 59 and 19. Chief 5 arrived on the scene with heavy smoke showing and fire visible in the delta quadrant.

Water Supply And Tanker Respond To Hollywood House Fire

7th District Volunteer', September 20

On Sunday evening Water Supply 5 was alerted on a structure fire assignment in Company 7's area on Barnes Court. The police responded to the home for a 911 hangup call and arrived to find the house on fire. Chief 7A arrived locating the single story house with fire through the roof. Engine And Tanker To Charles For A House Fire

On Monday afternoon, Station 5 was alerted along with Stations 2, 1, and 7 for the Engine to Fairhaven Road in Mechanicsville for a house fire. This was located off Ryceville Road just into Charles County. Engine 52 responded to the scene with four volunteers. As crews were beginning to battle the fire a second alarm was sounded. Volunteer's Attend Children's Day

On Saturday members attended the annual children's day event at the St. Clement's Island Museum. The event was from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There were many events for the kids including face painting, kiddie tractor pulls, sack races, and a mini battle of the buckets game.

Tanker Goes To Fire In Hollywood

7th District Volunteer's, August 12

On Wednesday morning units from Hollywood and surrounding companies were alerted to a working structure fire on Loveville Road. While responding Chief 7 requested three additional tankers while responding. Tanker 5 was alerted and responded with two personnel. Units arrived and located a large garage fully involved.
