On Friday afternoon Water Supply 5 was alerted to a house fire on Sandy Bottom Road in Company 7's area. Water Supply 5 responded with three personnel and headed to the fill site. Upon arrival in the area Engine 11 had established the fill site and Water Supply 5 proceeded to the scene. The crew assisted the crews operating with extinguishing the fire and overhaul. Tanker And Water Supply Respond To Commercial Vehicle Fire

7th District Volunteer's, January 14

At 0156 hours Water Supply 5 was dispatched Mutual Aid to Second District for several Commercial Vehicles on Fire on Callaway. Water Supply 5 responded and established a fill site at the Weis Grocery Store in Callaway. Tanker 5 was initially dispatched to transfer to Bay District but was then added to the Fire. On Thursday at 1051 hours, Engine 5, Tanker 5, Water Supply 5, Truck 1, Tanker 1, Engine 2, Tanker 2, Truck 7, Engine 7, Charles Squad 10 and EMS Stations 59 and 19 were alerted to a structure fire on Collinwood Drive in Abell. Community Christmas Party Held At Station

On Friday December 7, 2018 the department held the annual Community Christmas Party at the fire station. This event held each year is sponsored by the Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary, Seventh District Volunteer Rescue Squad and Auxiliary, Seventh District Optimist Club, American Legion Post 221 and Auxiliary and the St. Clement's Island Museum.

On Saturday December 1, 2018 the annual installation of officers was held at Holy Angels Hall in Avenue. The evening began with the installation of the 2019 officers for the department. After the new officers were sworn in, the guests enjoyed a meal prepared by Rita B's Catering. Once dinner was over, the memorial ceremony and awards were presented. In the early morning hours on Sunday, Station 5, Boat 5, Squad 5, Charles Boat 6 and EMS Station 59 were alerted to a subject in the water yelling for help off Bushwood Wharf.
