Units Respond to House Fire in Leonardtown

Wednesday morning at 1005 hours Company 5 was alerted mutual aid for a reported house on fire On Breton Beach Road in Leonardtown. Engine 52, Tanker 5 and Water Supply 5 all made the response to the scene. As units were responding fireboard advised that calls were being taken with reports of fire through the roof of the residence. Units Respond To Working Fire In St. Clement's Shores

Seventh District Volunteer's, December 13

On Saturday evening at 1956 hours, Stations 1, 5, 7, 2, 19 and 59 were alerted to a working house fire on St. Clement's Avenue in St. Clement's Shores. Engine 51 and Water Supply 5 responded to the call with 6 volunteers. Chief 1 arrived on the scene and advised he had fire showing from all four sides. Community Enjoys Annual Christmas Party

On Friday December 12, 2014 the department held the annual Community Christmas Party and lighting of the Christmas tree at the station. This event held each year is sponsored by the Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary, Seventh District Volunteer Rescue Squad and Auxiliary, Seventh District Optimist Club, American Legion Post 221 and Auxiliary and the St. Clement's Island Museum.

Annual Installation Of Officers Banquet

On Saturday December 6, 2014 the department held our annual installation of officers and awards banquet. The evening began with the installation of the 2015 officers of the department by Maryland State Firemen's Association Secretary Joe Cooper and the State Ladies Auxiliary 1st Vice President Darby Byrd.

Units Respond To Garage Fire In Colton's Point

At 1153 hours Wednesday night, Stations 5, 1, 2, 7, 59 and 19 were alerted to a reported garage fire on Charles Hall Road in Colton's Point. While units were responding, information was received from additional callers that the garage was fully involved. Single Vehicle Accident In Abell

Thursday evening at approximately 1830 hours, Chief 5 drove up on a single vehicle accident on Abell Road at Hatchet Thicket Road. The vehicle was off the road into a tree in the woods. A electric pole with wires and transformers were also down. Companies 5, 59 and 19 were dispatched to the incident.

Company Alerted to Brush Fire in Clements

On Thursday evening just before 1700 hours, Company 5 was alerted to the area of 24020 Hurry Road in Clements for a woods fire. Brush 5 responded just after dispatch with 2 volunteers. Chief 5A was the first to arrive and advised he had half an acre involved with exposure to a nearby shed.
