Three Car Wreck On Colton Point Road

On Friday afternoon just after 1400 hours, Stations 5, 59 and 19 were alerted to a Motor Vehicle accident on Colton Point Road at the intersection of Hurry Road. Just after dispatch Safety 5 arrived on the scene and located several vehicles in the roadway with at least two injuries.

Flyout Ater Horse Riding Accident

On Wednesday evening at 1939 hours, Stations 5, 59 and the medic were alerted to an injured subject from a horse riding accident on Oakley Road in Avenue. Engine 54 responded shortly ater dispatch with 7 personnel.

On Tuesday afternoon Station 2 was alerted to a hazerdous condition in the area of Village Liquors on Maddox Road. After arriving on the scene Squad 2 assessed the incident and requested Hazmat 18 to respond. This brought a response from Hazmat 18 members along with Pax River Hazmat 13.

Three Members Complete Firefighter Training

Over the past several months three of our newest members have been attending Firefighter I training through the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute. The three member are Kyle Hudson, Josh Phetteplace and D.J. Morgan.

On Saturday night at 2059 hours, Stations 5, 59 and 29 were alerted to a motor vehicle accident in the area of 24506 Hurry Road in Chaptico. Initial reports were of a single vehicle off the road with one injury.

Large Debris And Vehicle Fire In Clements

On Wednesday afternoon, Station 5 was alerted to a brush fire on Airport Lane in Clements. Brush 5 responded and upon arrival found a large debris fire and two vehicles well off. Brush 5 requested two additional tankers and brush units and assumed the command.

Brush Fire On Colton Point Road

On Sunday afternoon Station 5 was alerted to a brush fire in the area of Colton Point Road and Oakley Road. Brush 5 responded with 2 personnel and arrived finding a working fire in about 1/4 arce of woods.
