Tanker And Engine Respond To Morganza Fire

7th District Volunteer's, February 05

On Friday at 1010 hours, Station 5 was alerted for the Tanker, Engine and Water Supply to a reported building fire at 28895 Point Lookout Road in Morganza. Units from Company 1 arrived and located a single story apartment building with nothing evident. Station Alerted For Chimney Fire

On the evening of January 9th, Stations 5, 1, 2, Truck 1 and EMS Station 59 were alerted to the area of 36260 Notley Manor Lane, Maddox for the reported chimney fire. Engine 52 arrived finding smoke evident from the chimney area and established the command. Crews Run Working House Fire In Longview Beach

7th District Volunteer's, January 03

At 1758 hours on Sunday evening Stations 5, 1, 2, 7, Truck 1, Squad 7, EMS 59 and 19 were alerted to Woodbush Drive in Longview Beach for a reported house fire. Several calls were received reporting smoke and flames visible. Chief 5 arrived on the scene and located a two story house with heavy fire showing. Chief 5 established the Longview Beach Command. Serious MVA In Clements

7th District Volunteer's, December 20

Late Sunday night Station 1, Squad 1, Squad 5, EMS Stations 19, 59 and ALS were alerted to a serious motor vehicle accident on Budds Creek Road in the area of Pin Cushion Road. Units were advised a single vehicle was off the road and on fire, with two subjects trapped. Squad 5 and Engine 52 both responded with a total of 10 volunteers along with the units from Company 1. Fight Like A Kid 5K Fun Walk and Run #NolanStrong

On Saturday, December 19th a crew on Engine 52 participated in the Fight Like a Kid 5K Fun Walk and Run. The event hosted by the Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department was in support of Nolan Scully who is battling a rare soft tissue cancer. We wish Nolan and his family the best of luck over the next several months. We know Nolan will keep fighting and be #NolanStrong.

Units Respond To Electrical Fire In Longview Beach

On Saturday evening at 1731 Companies 5 and 1, were alerted to the Longview Beach Subdivision for the reported electrical fire in a residence. Engine 52 responded shortly after dispatch with 4 volunteers, and while en route Chief 5 went on the scene with a single story residence with nothing evident. Annual Installation Of Officers Banquet

On Saturday evening members of the department and auxiliary headed to Belmont Farm in Clements for our annual installation of officers and awards banquet. The evening began with the installation of the 2015 officers of the department by Southern Maryland Firemen's Association President George Hayden and Southern Maryland Ladies Auxiliary President Donna DeMarr.
