Company Alerted To Chimney Fire In Avenue

On Wednesday evening at 1943 hours Companies 5, 1 and 59 were alerted to Collins Road in Avenue for the reported chimney fire. Engine 52 responded shortly after dispatch with a crew of four, followed by Engine 51 with a crew of three. Auto Fire While Filling In At Mechanicsville

On Saturday evening, Engine 52 with a crew of six along with Squad 7, filled in at Station 2 while their members enjoyed their installation of officers banquet. At 1918 Engine 52 was alerted to an auto fire on Three Notch Road at the Oceanic Gas Station. On Wednesday morning at 0448 hours, Stations 5, 59 and 19 were alerted to a motor vehicle accident on Maddox Road in the area of Bashford Lane. Callers reported a single vehicle into a pole. At 0015 hours, Boat 5 was alerted mutual aid to Westmoreland County Virginia for a marina fire. The fire was located at the Port Kinsale Marina which is located on Allen Point Road in Kinsale, VA. Virginia land units arrived to find the covered slips at the marina well involved in fire with several boats burning. Boat 5 responded on the call with four volunteers. Units Alerted To Bushwood House Fire

At 2135 hours, Stations 5, 1, 2, 7, Truck 1, EMS Stations 59 and 19 were alerted to a reported house fire on Bushwood Wharf Road in Bushwood. Units were advised the caller had fire coming from the top of the wood stove and spreading to the house. Vehicle Fire In Longview Beach

On Sunday afternoon at 1526 hours, Station 5 was alerted to a vehicle fire on Mill Creek Drive in Longview Beach. Engine 52 arrived on the scene and located a vehicle on fire with extension to a shed. Engine 51 also responded to assist. Engine And Tanker Respond To Mechanicsville Shed Fire

On Wednesday afternoon at 1504 hours, Stations 2, 5, 1, 29 and Truck 1 were alerted to Mechanicsville Road in the area of Harrow Hills Court for a shed fire.
