Water Supply Assist On Mechanicsville Barn Fire

7th District Volunteers, February 24

At 1700 hours on Tuesday Water Supply 5 was alerted mutual aid to Station 2 at 28110 Mechanicsville Road for the reported barn fire. Chief 2 arrived finding a working fire and advised it would initially be a defensive attack. Engine 24 arrived and the crew pulled lines to the fire a majority of the fire. Squad And Engine Handle Oakley Road Accident

On Monday morning at 0644 hours, Company 5, Squad 1, EMS Stations 59, 19, 29 and the medic unit were dispatched for a personal injury accident reported serious with possible entrapment. Squad 5 responded shortly after dispatch with four volunteers and received reports of a three vehicle accident and that a door pop was needed. Company Assists On Leonardtown House Fire

Captain T.J. Faunce, February 20

At 1016 hours, just as Water Supply 5 was pulling back into the station from a house fire assignment another reported house fire was dispatched on St. Margarets Drive in Leonardtown. Stations 1, 7, 9, 6, Water Supply 5 and EMS 19 and 79 were alerted to the call. Water Supply 5 responded with 4 volunteers. Communications reported the caller had a sofa on fire inside the house.

Company Responds To Another Chimney Fire In Maddox

7th District Volunteers , February 15

On Sunday morning at 0736 Station 5, 2, Truck 1 and 59 were alerted to a chimney fire on Abells Cattle Trail in Maddox. Chief 5 arrived on scene and located a two story residence with smoke from the chimney. Upon investigation Engine 52's crew found an active fire in the chimney. Down Wires Cause Large Field Fire

7th District Volunteers , February 15

On Sunday morning at 0541 hours, Station 5 was alerted to a brush fire on Pond Point Farm Lane in Maddox. Brush 5, Brush 5A and Tanker 5 responded to the call and upon arrival located about 1/2 acre of open field burning. Longview Beach Chimney Fire

7th District Volunteers , February 13

Friday night at 2315 hours, Stations 5, 1 and 59 were alerted to a chimney fire on Sandy Lane in Longview Beach. Upon arrival units located a single story house with fire showing from the chimney. Engine 52's crew operated inside the house while Engine 51's crew operated on the roof. Tanker 5 proceeded to the scene and all other units were placed in staging at the entrance to Longview Beach. On Wednesday evening at 1943 hours Companies 5, 1 and 59 were alerted to Collins Road in Avenue for the reported chimney fire. Engine 52 responded shortly after dispatch with a crew of four, followed by Engine 51 with a crew of three.
