Engine And Tanker To Charles For A House Fire

On Monday afternoon, Station 5 was alerted along with Stations 2, 1, and 7 for the Engine to Fairhaven Road in Mechanicsville for a house fire. This was located off Ryceville Road just into Charles County. Engine 52 responded to the scene with four volunteers. As crews were beginning to battle the fire a second alarm was sounded. Volunteer's Attend Children's Day

On Saturday members attended the annual children's day event at the St. Clement's Island Museum. The event was from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There were many events for the kids including face painting, kiddie tractor pulls, sack races, and a mini battle of the buckets game.

Tanker Goes To Fire In Hollywood

7th District Volunteer's, August 12

On Wednesday morning units from Hollywood and surrounding companies were alerted to a working structure fire on Loveville Road. While responding Chief 7 requested three additional tankers while responding. Tanker 5 was alerted and responded with two personnel. Units arrived and located a large garage fully involved. Fire Boat Stands By At Boat Races In Leonardtown

Saturday morning, a crew aboard Boat 5 reported for a stand by at Leonardtown Wharf for the first annual boat races being held by the Southern Maryland Boat Club Summer Regatta. Several races were held throughout the day on the course that ran just over 3/4 of a mile in the Breton Bay. Squad Responds On MVA In Avenue

On Monday afternoon at 1258 hours, a rescue assignment was alerted for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries on Colton Point Road in the area of Oakley Road. Companies 5, 59, 19, 29 and 79 were alerted to the incident. Ambulances were on the scene and responding to several other EMS calls at the time of the incident. Auto Fire In Avenue

7th District Volunteer's, July 26

Early Sunday morning Station 5 was alerted to a auto fire in the area of Holy Angels School in Avenue. Engine 52 arrived and located a vehicle fully involved. The crew utilized the bumper line to extinguish the fire. The vehicle was in motion when it caught fire and the Sheriff's Office was requested to the scene. Dump Truck On Its Side In Bushwood

7th District Volunteer's, July 20

On Monday afternoon at 1324 hours, Station 5, Squad 5. Squad 1, EMS 59, 19 and ALS were alerted to a serious motor vehicle accident on Colton Point Road in the area of Capt. Sams Store. Units were advised a dump truck overturned with one person trapped. Chief 5A arrived on the scene and located a single dump truck on its side with no entrapment.
