Water Supply And Pumper Tanker On St James Fire

On Wednesday afternoon, at 1319 hours, Company 5 was alerted for Water Supply 5 to the 3-10 box for a working house fire with subjects trapped. Water Supply 5 marked up shortly after dispatch. Units arrived on scene to find a single story working house fire. Crews from Bay District VFD entered the structure and were able to rescue both occupants within moments of arriving on scene. Units Respond On Mechanicsville Brush Fires

On Friday afternoon at 1505 hours, Company 5 was alerted mutual aide to Mechanicsville at 37359 Newland Street in Country Lakes for a brush fire. Units from Station 2 and Charles Station 2 were already on scene with a woods fire that had extended to a small shed to the rear of the residence. Tanker 5, Engine 54 and Brush 5A responded. Station Alerted For Mechanicsville House Fire

On Saturday morning at 1004 hours, Companies 2, 7, 1, 5 and EMS Stations 29 and 79 were alerted to 26400 Laurel Grove Road for the reported house on fire. Engine 54, Tanker 5 and Water Supply 5 responded on the assignment. Shortly after units from Co. 2 arrived the fire to the vacant structure had already burned down however there was extension into the wooded area surrounding the house. Company 5 ... Single Vehicle Off The Roadway In Clements

On Monday morning at 0723 hours, Companies 5, 59 and 19 were alerted to a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Once on the road, fireboard advised Squad 5 that the updated location was now in on Colton Point Road about 1/2 mile from Budds Creek Rd. Units Respond To Brush Fires In Colton's Point

On Saturday afternoon, Station 5 was alerted to a brush fire on Colton Point Road in the area of Colton Point Marina. Brush 5, Brush 5A and Tanker 5 responded to the call. Brush 5 located the fire on the side of the road just past the marina. Brush 5A and Tanker 5 were placed in service. Water Supply Responds To Hollywood Fire

On Saturday afternoon, Water Supply 5 was alerted to a house fire in Company 7's area on Riva Ridge Road. Units from Company 7 arrived on the scene locating a single story house with a fire that extended into the attic.

Engine Displayed In Virginia Beach

Last week the new engine was on display at the Virginia Chief's Convention in Virginia Beach. The engine was in the booth of our dealer RedStorm Fire and Rescue Apparatus. The engine was next to a tanker just purchased by Trappe Volunteer Fire Company on the Eastern Shore.
