On Saturday morning just before 0800 hours, Company 5 was alerted mutual aid to Charles County for the reported boat taking on water. MSU 5 along with Boat 5 marked up shortly after dispatch and received updated information on the location placing the call in Company 5's first due in the area of St. Margaret's Island. With this information Squad 5 was added to the run and responded to the Bushwood area. Boat 5 launched from Bushwood Wharf and after a brief search located the vessel along with Charles Boat 6. The subjects were removed from their vessel which was slowly taking on water and advised they had launched from Cobb Island. Charles Boat 6 made the tow back to shore. Units operated for approx. 1 hour before returning to quarters. During this time Tanker 5 was alerted to Company 1's first due for a large woods fire.
