On Wednesday afternoon volunteers attended the Maryland Day ceremony held at the St. Clements Island Museum. The event which is held every year, celebrates Maryland's Birthday at the location the first settlers landed in 1634. Sheriff Cameron was the keynote speaker and a wreath ceremony was held outside at the conclusion of the events inside the museum.
