On Saturday evening members of the department and auxiliary headed to Belmont Farm in Clements for our annual installation of officers and awards banquet. The evening began with the installation of the 2015 officers of the department by Southern Maryland Firemen's Association President George Hayden and Southern Maryland Ladies Auxiliary President Donna DeMarr.

After the new officers were sworn in, the guests enjoyed a meal prepared by Rita B's Catering. Once dinner was over the awards were presented. Several members received awards for their accomplishments throughout the year. The awards list is as follows:

Several appreciation awards and certificates were presented during the ceremony to our allied agencies and community supporters. St. Mary's County Sheriff Tim Cameron was our Master of Ceremonies for the event. We would like to thank all the guests that attended the banquet and everyone that presented awards to the members of the department.

A special thanks to the Hollywood VFD for filling in during the banquet. Engine 73 ran a fatal motor vehicle accident in Chaptico while they were on the transfer.
