On the evening of January 9th, Stations 5, 1, 2, Truck 1 and EMS Station 59 were alerted to the area of 36260 Notley Manor Lane, Maddox for the reported chimney fire. Engine 52 arrived finding smoke evident from the chimney area and established the command. Tanker 14 and Engine 21 arrived shortly after and crews went to work laddering the roof and checking for extension inside the residence. Truck 1 utilized their thermal imager and assured that there had been no extension to the first floor area near the wood stove.

Crews determined it to be minor build up in the pre-fab chimney that had already burned itself out without the need for removal or any extinguishment. Crews operated for just over an hour before clearing.
