Wednesday night at 2048 hours, Stations 5, 1 and EMS Stations 59 19 and ALS were alerted to a reported serious motor vehicle accident on Oakley Road in the area of Burch Road. Reports were of a single vehicle overturned in a field. Chief 5 arrived on the scene along with Squad 5 and located an unoccupied vehicle. The assignment was held with Company 5 and a single ambulance. A short time later the occupant of the vehicle returned to the scene. Ambulance 597 transported the patient priority two to Medstar St. Mary's. Units provided lighting for the Sheriff's Office for a short time before returning to quarters.
