On Tuesday afternoon Stations 5, 59 and 19 were alerted to a single vehicle accident on Colton Point Road in the area of Paul Ellis Road. Reports were of a single vehicle into a pole with wires down. Units responded and upon arrival located the single vehicle with a single patient. There were no wires down in the roadway. The crew from Sqaud 5 secured the vehicle and assisted EMS. After an assessment a helicopter was requested for the patient. Engine 52 handled the landing site for Trooper 7 at Holy Angels Church. Trooper 7 flew the patient to PG Trauma Center. All units returned to quarters within an hour.
