On Friday December 7, 2018 the department held the annual Community Christmas Party at the fire station. This event held each year is sponsored by the Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary, Seventh District Volunteer Rescue Squad and Auxiliary, Seventh District Optimist Club, American Legion Post 221 and Auxiliary and the St. Clement's Island Museum.

This year we had a great turnout. Fire truck rides began at 5:00 and at 6:30 a parade of fire and ems apparatus came up Colton Point Road. Santa arrived on Rescue Squad 5. Many local businesses donated toys for the door prizes. There were some great gifts for children to choose after they had a visit with Santa. We hope everyone enjoyed the evening.
