On Tuesday December 10th just after 3 p.m. units were dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident on Colton Point Road in the area of Denby Hill Lane. Reports were of a single vehicle into a pole with two trapped. Squad 5 arrived and located the truck was resting against the pole after driving up the guide wire. Chief 5 held the command. Squad 5 utilized struts along with straps to secure the vehicle on both sides before removing the patients.

One patient signed a refusal and the other was transported to MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. Both Squad 5 and Engine 51 remained on the scene to assist the Sheriff's Office and SMECO while the vehicle was removed.
