Two Vehicle MVA With Medevac

7th District Volunteer's, January 06

Thursday night at 2103 hours, Station 5, Squad 5, EMS 59 and 19 were alerted to a motor vehicle accident on Maddox Road in the area of Bushwood Post Office. Fireboard advised two vehicles were involved with an unknown amount of injuries. Captain 5 arrived on the scene, followed by Squad 5, locating four patients with no entrapment. Chief 5 established the command.

Engine, Squad And Chief's Go To Leonardtown House Fire

7th District Volunteer's, December 30

Early Friday morning Engine 1, Truck 1, Engine 7, Truck 7, Engine 9, Engine 5, Squad 5, EMS 19 and 79 were alerted to a house fire on Challedon Way in Leonard's Grant subdivision in Leonardtown. During the response of units, Fireboard advised the caller stated there was heavy fire visible. Chief 1 arrived on the scene located a two story house that was fully involved. Crews Respond To Working Fire In Colton's Point

Fire Chief J.A. Nelson, December 22

On Thursday morning at 0446 hours, Stations 5, 1, 2, 7, Truck 1, Truck 7, Charles Squad 2, EMS 59 and 29 were alerted to a house fire on Windy Lane in Colton's Point. Fireboard advised a neighbor called reporting a house fire. Engine 52 arrived on scene and dropped a supply line from Colton Point Road. Fire Boat And Squad Respond To Leonardtown House Fire

Fire Chief J.A. Nelson, December 20

On Tuesday at 1445 hours Stations 1, 6, 3, 7, Truck 1, Truck 7, Squad 5, EMS 19, EMS 6, and ALS were dispatched to Riverwinds Drive in Leonardtown for a House Fire with a possible person trapped. Engine 11 was first to arrive finding a 1 story single family home with fire showing from all sides. Three Vehicle Serious Accident In Clements

7th District Volunteers , December 17

Saturday evening at 1721 hours, Station 5, Squad 5, Squad 1, EMS 59, 19 and ALS were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Budds Creek Road in the area of Long Road. Chief 5 arrived on scene shortly after dispatch and located three vehicles with a total of 6 patients. One vehicle was overturned but the patient was out of the vehicle. Command was established by Chief 5.

Annual Installation Of Officers

On Saturday December 3, 2016 the annual installation of officers was held at Holy Angels Hall in Avenue. The evening began with the installation of the 2017 officers for the department. After the new officers were sworn in, the guests enjoyed a meal prepared by Rita B's Catering. Once dinner was over, the memorial ceremony and awards were presented. Engine and Squad Respond to Leonardtown Fire

Captain T.J. Faunce, November 17

On Thursday morning at approximately 0234 hours, Company 5 was alerted mutual aid to Leonardtown for the reported working house fire. Engine 52 and Squad 5 responded with a total of 9 volunteers. Chief 1 arrived on location to a single story, single family residence with heavy fire on the rear.
