Station Alerted For Hazardous Condition

Tuesday afternoon just before 1400 hours, Company 5 was alerted to the area of Capt. Sam's Store on Colton Point Road for a hazardous condition. It was reported a vehicle standing on its front end against a pole. Squad 5 made the response and arrived to find a vehicle upright on its front bumper. The crew quickly established a safe area and spoke with the operator to assure his well being. At that time the unit stood by while the tow company removed the vehicle which had been propped on its nose end and held in place by guide wires from an electric pole. Operations concluded without incident and the scene was turned over to the Sheriffs Office.
