Station Alerted to Woods Fire

On Wednesday at 1510 hours Company 5 was alerted for the reported brush fire in the area of 22722 Maddox Road. Shortly after dispatch Captain 5 arrived on scene with a working woods fire. Moments later both Brush 5 and Brush 5A arrived on scene and deployed their lines into the woods. Tanker 5 arrived shortly after and supplied both units. Crews made a quick knock on the fire and began mopping up shortly after. Units operated for approximately an hour before returning to service.
