Station Fills In At Hughesville Co. 2

Tuesday afternoon at 1340 hours, Company 5 was alerted for a fill in at Mechanicsville Station 2. Shortly after response, Engine 51 was rerouted to Charles County Station 2, Hughesville. Multiple Charles and St. Mary's County units had already been alerted for a commercial building fire in Hughesville's first due. Engine 51 stood by for just under two hours and then was placed in service as units began arriving back to their fire house.
