| On Saturday afternoon after crews returned from a dumpster fire, a citizen stopped by the station and advised an accident had just occurred up the street from the firehouse. Command 5 and Squad 5 responded and located a single vehicle that hit a utility pole.
The two occupants were out of the vehicle and the crew from Squad 5 secured the car and checked the patients. Ambulance 599 arrived on the scene and transported both patients priority three to St. Mary's Hospital.
Squad 5 remained on the scene for a short period of time assisted the Sheriff's Office with traffic control before returning to quarters. |
