| On Tuesday evening, while members were at the station awaiting the start of a scheduled MFRI class, an assignment was started for a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Oakley Road in the area of Burch Road. Squad 5 responded with 5 volunteers, followed by Engine 54. Chief 5A arrived first on the scene advising of a single vehicle off the roadway that had overturned and was now up right. A single patient was located with minor injuries. Squad 5 arrived and secured and stabilized the vehicle and began patient care. Shortly after, the patient was turned over to Ambulance 599 who transported the patient to SMH priority 2. Crews returned to service after approximately 25 minutes. |
