On Saturday afternoon, Water Supply 5 was alerted to a house fire in Company 7's area on Riva Ridge Road. Units from Company 7 arrived on the scene locating a single story house with a fire that extended into the attic.

Multiple units from Company 7 and surrounding companies worked to extinguish the fire. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. Water Supply 5 was sent to a draft site off Secretariate Drive. After a brief time at the draft site, a water supply was not needed and the crew went to the scene to assist with overhaul operations.

The house, which was built into a hill, posed unique challenges for access and ventilation. Check out the below video of Company 7 arriving and operating at the scene.
