On Saturday morning at 1004 hours, Companies 2, 7, 1, 5 and EMS Stations 29 and 79 were alerted to 26400 Laurel Grove Road for the reported house on fire. Engine 54, Tanker 5 and Water Supply 5 responded on the assignment. Shortly after units from Co. 2 arrived the fire to the vacant structure had already burned down however there was extension into the wooded area surrounding the house. Company 5 was then alerted for the brush unit. Brush 5A responded with 2 personnel. Command scaled the incident back to units on the scene except for the incoming brush units. Station 5 members operated for just under 30 minutes before returning to service. Engine 54 handled a transfer to Station 2 until units cleared.
