Beginning on Sunday June 15th, 2014 the annual Maryland State Firemen's Association Convention was held in Ocean City, Maryland. This is the 122nd annual convention held by the association. This year Engine 52 was on display outside of the convention center in RedStorm Fire's booth.

Several members attended the memorial service on Sunday along with many of the events throughout the week. These included meetings, seminars and awards presentations. On Wednesday the firemen's parade was held. Engine 52 and Brush 5 were taken through the parade. Both units received an award. Engine 52 received 3rd best appearing engine and Brush 5 received a Judges Award.

We would also like to congratulate our Auxiliary President Barbara Nelson for being elected the Jr. Vice President of the Maryland State Firemen's Association Ladies Auxiliary. She will serve a year in that position and continue to work her way up to President of the State Auxiliary.
