MVA With One On Fire On Sugar Hole Road

On Monday evening at 1752 hours, Stations 5, 59 and 19 were alerted to a motor vehicle accident on Sugar Hole Road in the area of Colton Point Road. As units responded they were advised that a single vehicle was in the field and on fire with one patient.

Units arrived and located a pick up truck fully involved. The single patient was out of the vehicle and was checked by EMS. Ambulance 598 obtained a signed refusal from the patient. Squad 5 and Engine 52 extinguished the fire. The assignment was held with Company 5 and Ambulance 598.

Once the fire was out the scene was turned over to the Sheriff's Office. Units returned to quarters at 1838 hours.
