One Flown After Falls In Avenue

On Monday morning at 1205 hours, Co.59 was dispatched to 20800 Clarence Gass Road in Avenue for a reported fall injuries. Ambulance 597 responded and was advised of a subject injured after falling from a ladder. After arriving on scene and beginning patient care, it was determined that the subject needed to be flown to a trauma center. Company 5 was dispatched to set up a landing site for Trooper 2 from Andrews AFB. Engine 52 responded with four volunteers and set up a site on nearby Malcolm Gass Lane. The patient was loaded from the ambulance and into Trooper 2, which transported the patient to Prince George's Trauma Center.
