On Tuesday evening at 1913 hours, Stations 5, 59 and 19 were alerted to a single vehicle accident on Colton Point Road in the area of Denby Hill Lane. Squad 5 responded with six volunteers and upon arrival located the single vehicle with a single occupant off the road. Squad 5 removed the driver's door of the vehicle to gain access to the patient. Chief 5 held the command and held the assignment with Squad 5 and Ambulance 597. The patient was removed and transported by Ambulance 597 to St. Mary's Hospital. Squad 5 returned to quarters at 1948 hours.
