On Monday night while members were conducting drill, a citizen stopped by the station and advised there was an accident on Colton Point Road up the street from the station. Squad 5, Engine 52 and Chief 5 responded and located a single vehicle into a pole. After further investigation no occupant(s) were located. Crews checked the area with a thermal imager with no success. The assignment was placed in service and Squad 5 remained on the scene until the police arrived. All units returned to quarters within 30 minutes.
