Water Supply On Working Fire In Hollywood

Monday morning at 0840 hours Stations 7, 2, 1, 9, Charles Station 2, Squad 3 and Water Supply 5 were alerted to 27050 Cat Creek Road for a reported kitchen fire. Water Supply 5 responded shortly after dispatch with 4 volunteers. As units were responding fireboard gave updated information advising it was now a working fire. Engine 72 arrived on the scene first, laying a supply line and advising of heavy fire showing all sides. As units began the fire attack, Water Supply 5 responded to nearby Seabreeze Restaurant and established a draft and fill site from the Patuxent River.

The crew from Water Supply 5 then split and a team was sent to the scene to assist with overhaul. Members from Company 5 assisted on the fire ground for approximately 20 minutes before returning.
