On Sunday afternoon just after 1603 hours, Companies 5, 1, 2, 7 , Charles 2, 59 and 19 were alerted to the 23000 block of Longview Boulevard for the reported structure fire. Engine 52 responded just after dispatch along with Tanker 5. Chief 5A arrived on location and located a 2 story split foyer with nothing evident but had an audible alarm. Engine 52 arrived next laying out from Longview Blvd at Upland Drive and advancing an attack line into the residence.

Chief 5 then arrived and established the command, crews having now located a small kitchen fire with light smoke conditions through out the residence. The fire was placed under control and crews checked for extension with nothing further located. After a brief period of ventilation and clean up the command was terminated and crews returned to service in just over 30 minutes.
