On Monday evening just before the monthly business meeting, Station 5 was alerted mutual aid to Company 1 for a house fire in Breton Bay. Engine 51, Rescue Squad 5 and Water Supply 5 responded to the scene with a total of 16 volunteers.

Units from Company 1 arrived and located heavy fire in a single family residence. Crews from Leonardtown made a quick knock on the fire. Engine 51 was given the assignment of supplying other units on the scene while Squad 5 was assigned RIT. Water Supply 5 staged on a hydrant at the end of the street as a secondary water supply.

Crews assisted with overhaul and ventilation. All units returned back to quarters in about a hour.
