At 0025 hours on Wednesday morning Station 5, EMS 59 and 19 were alerted to a motor vehicle accident with a reported vehicle overturned and on fire. Chief 5A arrived on scene and found a single vehicle on it's side smoking. The single occupant was out of the vehicle upon arrival. Chief 5, Engine 52 and Squad 5 also responded to the scene. The assignment was held with Engine 52 and one ambulance. Crews secured the vehicle while Ambulance 597 obtained a refusal. All units returned to quarters within 30 minutes.
