Two Car Collision In Bushwood

On Wednesday evening at 1740 hours, Station 5, EMS 59 and 19 were alerted to a motor vehicle accident on Colton Point Road and Maddox Road. Communications advised two vehicles were involved in a head on style collision. Chief 5 arrived on the scene at 1742 hours finding two vehicles with three total patients. Chief 5 established the command.

Squad 5 arrived and stabilized and secured both vehicles. The crew began patient care until EMS units arrived. Engine 51 also responded to the scene and the crew assisted Squad 5. Two patients were transported by Ambulance 597 and 196 to Medstar St. Mary's Hospital. The third patient signed a refusal and the third ambulance was placed in service.

Once the patients were loaded into the ambulance, the scene was turned over to the State Police. All units returned to quarters at 1807 hours.
