| On Friday evening Engine 54, Brush 5 and UTV 5 attended the first night of the 7th Annual Lawn Mower Races at Bowles Farms in Clements. This event that is growing in pouplarity each year is sponsored by STA-BIL and features several categories of riding lawn mowers with enhanced motors. Riders begin at a starting line and have to run, jump on their mowers and begin the race.
On Friday night only one crash happened where one rider had to be transported to the hospital. On Saturday units returned for a second night of racing. The event was a great time for everyone and we look forward to next year. |
