Engine and Tanker Respond to Two Alarm Building Fire

On Tuesday afternoon at 1446 hours Company 6 and surrounding companies were alerted to a building fire at Champion Used Auto Parts. Crews arrived to find the building heavily involved in fire. A Tanker Task Force and second alarm were struck a short time into the incident. Engine 52 and Tanker 5 both responded to the scene. The crew from Engine 52 operated at the scene assisting in several different areas while Tanker 5 was part of the tanker shuttle. All St. Mary's County Department and several from Charles and Calvert operated at the scene.
