Early Wednesday morning, Engine 52 and Tanker 5 were alerted to a house fire on Whitestone Drive in Piney Point on the second alarm. Crews operated for several hours extinguishing the over 6,000 square foot home. Once clear the scene, Engine 52 handled a transfer to Station 3. While there they handled a motor vehicle accident on Three Notch Road.
