On Monday evening Company 1 was dispatched to an outside fire in on Maypole Road. Upon arrival located multiple piles of logs burning and requested a brush fire task force. Engine/Tanker 54, Brush 5, UTV 5 and Brush 5A all responded and operated at the scene. Crews extinguished several of the piles before the scene was turned over to the owner. Units from Company 5 operated for approximately an hour.
