| Saturday at 8:43 p.m. Station 5 and surrounding companies were alerted to Box Area 5-10 for a Non-Dwelling Structure fire on Joyce Street in Bushwood. Chief 5 arrived on scene and found a shed in the back yard well involved in fire. Engine 52 (Chief 5A) laid a supply line in from Whites Neck Road and extended a handline to the structure.
The fire was quickly knocked down by the engine crew. A short time later the fire was held under control and the assignment was held with Engine 52, Tanker 5 and Engine/Tanker 54. Crews operated for approximately an hour before returning to quarters. |
