| On Sunday morning members headed to Longview Beach to conduct training at an accquired structure. The house, located on Fielding Drive, had been vacant for several years. Crews prepared the house for the burn and due to the condition of the structure only two rooms were able to be used for live fire exercises. On Monday prior to the burn, crews conducted training on ladder exercise, hand line operations and forcible entry.
Each crew was able to go through three scenarios before the house was let go and burned down. We want to thank the owners of the house for allowing us the training opportunity and donating the structure to the department. |
