| On Friday at 1627 hours, Stations 5, 1, 2, 7, 59 and 19 were alerted to a house fire on Wicomico Drive in Longview Beach. Fireboard reported an electrical fire in a house with the house filling up with smoke. Chief 5 arrived on the scene and located a two story house with nothing evident.
Engine 54 arrived and the crew pulled a line to the front door and investigated the electrical fire. An outlet was found in a second floor bedroom. The fire was out and the crew checked for extension. Once it was determined there was no extension the assignment was held with Company 5 units only.
Engine 51 arrived and checked the house with the Thermal Imager. Once this was complete units packed up and returned to quarters. |
