Vehicle Versus Tractor In Clements

On Tuesday just before 1700 hours, Company's 5, 59 and 19 were alerted to the area of Coltons Point Road and Grampton Road for the reported motor vehicle accident. Lieutenant 5B arrived on scene and established the Coltons Point Road command and advised of a small Volkswagen that had clipped a tractor and landed up right on a guard rail. Squad 5 arrived shortly after and stabilized the vehicle and assisted with patient removal. Engine 54 then arrived and assisted the Squad's crew and with the tractor operator who was a signed refusal. One patient was transported to St. Mary's Hospital with minor injuries. Units operated for just under 40 minutes.
