Units Alerted Mutual Aid to Charles County

During the early morning hours of Wednesday, units from Charles and St. Mary's were alerted to the building fire at 9700 Bowling Drive in Charles County. Units from Charles arrived on scene with a fully involved structure. At 0107 hours Company 5 was alerted for the brush unit to extinguish brush fires that were created by the building fire. Brush 5 responded but was placed in service before it's arrival. At 0138 hours Company 5 was alerted for the Engine to fill in at Hughesville Station 2. Engine 51 responded at dispatch and staged at Company 2 until being placed in service and returned to quarters.
