On Wednesday at 1143 hours, Companies 5 and 1 were alerted to 38265 Palmer Road in Coltons Point. The caller advised of an unknown odor coming from her crawl space and thought it was an electrical fire. Engine 54 was the first to arrive finding a 3 story, single family residence with nothing showing. Engine 51 was next to arrive bringing its crew to the scene with the thermal imager. After a thorough check there was no signs of fire or bad wiring and it was determined the odor was given off by the furnace system. Units cleared the scene in just over an hour.

Units: Engine 54 and Engine 51
