| On Tuesday afternoon, Stations 5 and 59 were alerted to a motor vehicle accident involving an occupied school bus on Mill Point Road at the Intersection of Center Avenue in Mill Point Shores.
Squad 5 and Engine 54 responded to the call along with three ambulances from Company 59. Units arrived and located 7 patients all out of the vehicles. All patients were checked and not injured. Assessments were done by EMS to all the children before they obtained refusals and were released to the school board or awaiting parents.
Units remained on the scene for approximately 45 minutes and assisted with separating the vehicle and the bus. |
