| On Saturday evening at 1650 hours, Stations 5 and 1 were alerted to a commercial vehicle fire on Budds Creek Road in the area of Horseshoe Road. Reports were of a farm tractor on fire on the side of the roadway.
Chief 5 arrived shortly after dispatch locating a farm tractor fully involved. Engine 54, Tanker 5 and Engine 14 all responded to the call. Crews worked and extinguished the fire that damaged the entire tractor and the disc it was pulling.
Once the fire was extinguished units remained on the scene until equipment arrived that was able to move the tractor from the roadway.
Units returned to quarters in approximately an hour. |
