| On Wednesday afternoon at 1522 Hours Station 1, Squad 5 and EMS Units were alerted to a Motor Vehicle Accident with Entrapment on Budds Creek Road. Chief 5A and Squad 5 responded at Dispatch with Chief 5A arriving on location advising of a two vehicle accident with one heavily trapped. Squad 5 was next arriving using the Amkus Spreaders and Cutters to remove the driver side door. Squad 1 arrived and utilized there Ram to perform a Dash Roll. Once the patient was extricated the patient was turned over to the awaiting EMS units, it was then determined that the patient would need to be flown to a Trauma Center for injuries recieved. Engine 10 handled the landing zone at the Clements ballfield. Units returned to service shortly afterwards. |
