| On Saturday afternoon at 1326 hours, Boat 5 was alerted mutual aid to Charles County for an overturned boat in the area of Hatten Creek on the Wicomico River. Boat 5 responded to the incident and arrived with Charles Boat 6 and found a boat overturned with a single victim in the water.
The subject was pulled from the water and taken to awaiting Charles County EMS. The patient signed a refusal and was taken back to Chaptico Wharf by Boat 5. The boat sank and DNR and Coast Guard were notified.
Boat 5 returned to quarters within an hour. |
