Fire Prevention at Dynard Elementary

On Friday morning the engine crew loaded up and headed to Dynard Elementary School for a day of fire prevention during this years fire prevention week. The morning classes assembled in the cafeteria, where we spoke with them about a wide range of topics involving fire safety and prevention. Crew members also participated in gear donning races, handed out stickers and other fun activities to get the kids involved and excited about such an important week. The crew returned again later that day to meet with the afternoon classes and again enjoyed a great time with all the students. The students had already been learning much about fire prevention during the week in class. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to visiting again soon.
