| On Thursday and Friday of this week, members of the apparatus committee traveled to Osceola, WI for the mid-point inspection on our new engine being built at CustomFIRE Apparatus.
The committee sat down with our dealer RedStorm Fire and Rescue Apparatus along with the builder to review each part of the specification. This process ensures the apparatus is built as required during the design. The progress of the engine is depicted in the photos below. Over the next couple weeks the components will come together and the engine will be completed.
Some of the features of the engine include a Spartan 6 man cab, Cummins engine, 2000 GPM Hale Q-Max pump, 750 gallon water tank and much more.
