Saturday afternoon, crews responded to a single vehicle overturned on Oakley Road in Avenue. Chief 5A arrived and found a single patient trapped in the vehicle. A helicopter was requested after an initial assessment was conducted. The crew from Squad 5 completed the extrication within 4 minutes of arrival. Ambulance 599 along with Medic 2 transported the patient to 7th District Park where Engine 51 handled the landing site for Trooper 7. Trooper 7 took the patient to PG Trauma Center.
