On Thursday evening, members at the station received a reported a black column of smoke in the area of Sugar Hole Road. A crew on Engine Tanker 54 headed that direction to investigate and while enroute, a box alarm was sounded for a shed fire. Engine Tanker 54 arrived and dropped a 4" line at the end of the driveway. The crew located a shed fully involved with extension to a bus, a large pile of logs along with a woods fire. Chief 5B held the command of the incident.

Engine Tanker 54 pulled two 1.75" lines to the fire and worked to extinguish the flames. Tanker 5 picked up ET-54's line while a crew on Engine 52 proceeded to the scene to assist. Brush 5 also responded to the call. Engine 22 and Truck 1's crews were sent to the scene to assist upon their arrival. The fire was quickly brought under control and the assignment was held with units from Companies 5, 2, and 1.

Units worked for approximately an hour before picking up and returning to quarters. Engine 6 filled in at Station 5 during the incident.
