At 2330 Sunday night, Squad 5 responded to a house fire on Sycamore Drive in Wicomico Shores. First arriving units from Mechanicsville VFD found a single story home with fire throughout. Upon arrival Squad 5's crew went to division one with Truck 7 to assist with fire attack and opening up. Early Sunday morning while Engine 52 was returning to quarters from a fill in at Solomon's, a box alarm was dispatched on Paw Paw Point Way in Leonardtown. Engine 52 responded from Route 4 in Leonardtown. Tanker 51 and Water Supply 5 also responded on the call. Chief 1 arrived on scene locating a two story home with nothing evident. Saturday Morning, Boat 5 with a crew of four, assisted on a water rescue for a person in the water on the Patuxent River. After the individual was located by Trooper 7, Boat 5 pulled them from the water and transported to awaiting EMS at the Solomon's Boat Ramp. Solomon's Chief 3 held the command. At 1045 hours on Wednesday morning, Station 5 and surrounding companies were alerted to a barn fire on Bowles Road in Colton's Point. Units arrived on scene and located a 30 x 50 building along with a truck and boat fully involved.

At 2204 hours on Monday night, Station 5 was alerted to an outside fire on Waterloo Circle in Colton's Point. Brush 5 arrived and located a 10 x 10 shed with surrounding brush involved in fire. On Sunday Boat 5 and Tanker 5 participated in a tri-county water supply drill at the Joseph Sacco Firefighting School in Piney Point. The morning session focused on relay pumping while in the afternoon focused on tanker shuttle operations. Boat 5 supplied one of the fill sites while Tanker 5 participated in the tanker shuttle.... At 0443 hours Saturday morning, Station 5 was alerted to a house fire on Park Place in Colton's Point. Chief 5 arrived and located fire showing from sides Charlie and Delta of a single story residence. Chief 5 established the command and confirmed all occupants were out of the home.
