On Sunday November 1st a crew on Boat 5 is assisted Bay District Volunteer Fire Department with a training burn off Patuxent Blvd in California. Boat 5 is provided water supply for the burn by drafting from the Patuxent River.

Saturday afternoon, crews responded to a single vehicle overturned on Oakley Road in Avenue. Chief 5A arrived and found a single patient trapped in the vehicle. A helicopter was requested after an initial assessment was conducted. The crew from Squad 5 completed the extrication within 4 minutes of arrival. On October 1st, Volunteer's responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on Colton Point Road in Clements. One patient who was initially trapped was able to self extricate. That patient was flown by Trooper 7 to Baltimore Shock Trauma. The other patient involved refused EMS care. Squad 5, Engine 51, Ambulance 599, 196 and Medic 2 operated on the scene. At 0756 hours, Station 5 and surrounding Companies were alerted to a vehicle in flood water on Bushwood Road in the area of Kaylas Lane. Chief 5 arrived and located the occupant who was able to get out of the water and leave the vehicle stranded.
