Volunteers Respond To Barn Fire In Colton's Point

7th District Volunteers, May 19

At 1045 hours on Wednesday morning, Station 5 and surrounding companies were alerted to a barn fire on Bowles Road in Colton's Point. Units arrived on scene and located a 30 x 50 building along with a truck and boat fully involved.

No Caption Outside Fire Becomes Shed Fire In Colton's Point

7th District Volunteers, May 17

At 2204 hours on Monday night, Station 5 was alerted to an outside fire on Waterloo Circle in Colton's Point. Brush 5 arrived and located a 10 x 10 shed with surrounding brush involved in fire. The crew started knocking the fire until Tanker 5 arrived and pulled a 1.75" line. Brush 5A and Engine 52 also responded to assist.... (Full Story & Photos)

Tri-County Water Supply Drill

7th District Volunteers, May 16

On Sunday Boat 5 and Tanker 5 participated in a tri-county water supply drill at the Joseph Sacco Firefighting School in Piney Point. The morning session focused on relay pumping while in the afternoon focused on tanker shuttle operations.

No Caption Working House Fire In Colton's Point

7th District Volunteers, May 15

At 0443 hours Saturday morning, Station 5 was alerted to a house fire on Park Place in Colton's Point. Chief 5 arrived and located fire showing from sides Charlie and Delta of a single story residence. Chief 5 established the command and confirmed all occupants were out of the home.

Commercial Storage Building Fire In Bushwood

7th District Volunteers, February 22

At 0244 on Friday morning, Station 5 was alerted to a garage fire on Whites Neck Road. Units arrived on scene and located a single story commercial garage with heavy fire throughout the building.

Engine 52 deployed two hand lines and a 2.5" line to the structure to protect exposures and cool a venting propane tank. Chief 5 established the command and advised the fire would be a defensive attack. ... (Full Story & Photos)

No Caption Volunteers Respond To Working Fire In Bushwood

7th District Volunteers, February 15

On Monday evening at 1913 hours as members were starting weekly drill, a structure fire was dispatched on Gibson Road in Bushwood. Responding units were advised of a chimney fire with possible extension into the attic. Chief 5, Engine 52 (Chief 5A), Tanker 51, Tanker 5, Squad 5 and Water Supply all responded on the call with 22 personnel.

Vehicle Into Building In Clements

7th District Volunteers, January 24

At 0206 this morning, Stations 5, 59 and 19 were alerted to a motor vehicle accident involving a structure at Guy Auto Parts in Clements. Crews arrived to find a single vehicle with a single occupant which left the road and struck the front of the building.
