Squad 5's crew upon arrival began stabilizing the vehicle while also deploying the extrication tools. The Squad crew handled a single door pop on the passenger side to access the patient which took less than one minute from time of arrival at the vehicle. Squad 2 arrived and pulled a hand line to the vehicle and assisted crews. EMS responders were already on scene and requested an air transport for the priority 1 patient. Engine 24 handled a landing site at the intersection, while the patient was loaded into Ambulance 599 for further assessment.
