On Sunday evening while members were at the station after responding on a boat in distress call, a working fire assignment was dispatched in on Lookout Drive in Company 3's area. Several units that were already on a previous fire dispatch in Lexington Park responded to the scene along with additional resources. Company 5 was dispatched for the Water Supply unit at 2148 hours and responded with 5 volunteers.

Engine 72 arrived first on the scene and laid a supply line from the a nearby hydrant and positioned past the address on side Alpha reporting a 3 story townhouse with a working fire between the 1st and 2nd level. Units from the surrounding companies began to arrive and assisted with fire attack and began ventilation and search. The water supply was established prior to the arrival of Water Supply 5 and they responded to the scene for additional personnel.

Shortly after arriving the crew was sent to relieve the fire attack group on Division 2 of the middle of the row townhouse. Firefighters assisted with making cuts in the floor and hitting hot spots on Division 2 for approximately 25 minutes. Once the tasks were completed on Division 2 the crew from Company 5 was reassigned to Division 3 to assist with ventilation and overhaul. In total the unit operated on the fire ground for approximately 90 minutes before returning to quarters.
